The St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, established in 1962 by entertainer Danny Thomas, conducts groundbreaking research into the causes and cures of catastrophic diseases that strike children. The facility shares findings with doctors and scientists worldwide. Further, St. Jude's admits and treats children regardless of their ability to pay.

Partnership with this important organization has become part of the fabric of RHA. It's a source of pride to the company's management, employees and business associates, who enthusiastically provide heartfelt moral and tangible support.

In 2003, 2004 and 2005 RHA supplied the land, design and construction services for Dream Homes to be built in Lakewood, Volo and Grayslake, Illinois. Raffles were held, with the homes as prizes. Thousands of RHA residents, visitors to sales centers, friends, business contacts and family members contributed $100 each to participate.

Because of RHA's close relationship with subcontractors, sources and municipalities, 100% of construction materials, labor, permits and fees were donated. This meant that all proceeds could go directly to St. Jude, for the first time in the 11-year history of its Dream Home program. And RHA was named St. Jude's Builder of the Year, a national honor!

As the relationship with St. Jude grows and continues, RHA is proud to have raised more than $2.5 million dollars through its Dream Home participation. This is a labor of love and testament to the power of a business that cares about its community and operates with true teamwork.

And the commitment continues. In 2006, RHA created the "Every Home Holds a Dream" campaign. This is a dollar-for-dollar matching-of-funds program offered to purchasers, friends and family and the business and subcontractor partners of RHA. It means that every home sold by RHA can be, in its own way, a St. Jude Dream home. In just a two-month period, this program raised more than $50,000 for the kids of St. Jude. And it continues today.
